WVH Design is a landscape architecture and garden design studio specializing in residential projects. Landscapes touch us emotionally allowing open spaces and gardens to become an integral part of our memory and life experience. Thoughtful site designs must consider the existing natural features, color, planting, and context in order to find a style of expression that reveals the spirit of a place. Our designs for private gardens, courtyards, roof-top gardens, and the creation of custom details, make each project remarkable. We work with water-wise planting, native planting, and designing for fire resistance.
The practice draws upon a breadth of world travels and range of project styles and sizes that has informed our design philosophy. Combining art with landscape design, our approach is a visual exploration, creating sketches, perspective drawings, and renderings that guide a project’s plans and details. The studio is based in downtown Los Angeles, California.
